Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 1 cup fresh or frozen berries (blueberries, raspberries, or cherries)
- Soft butter for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180 °C (350 °F). Grease a medium baking dish.
- Arrange berries evenly in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk milk, eggs, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Gently whisk in flour until just combined.
- Pour batter over berries.
- Bake 30–35 min until puffed and lightly golden.
- Serve warm or at room temperature, dusted with icing sugar if desired.
